Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nicole Uhrig studied landscape architecture and landscape planning at Technische Universität Berlin, Germany and at Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura in Barcelona, Spain. She worked for private clients and for planning offices like G. Kiefer or STrauma Landschaftsarch., Berlin.

She joined the chair for Landscape Architecture and Design of Prof. Dr. Udo Weilacher at Leibniz Universität Hannover as research assistant and completed her doctorate on landscape architecture at TU Munic about Landscape Architecture as Communication Tool for Corporate Identity Concepts. She taught and researched for various universities (i.a. TU München, ETH Zürich, School of Architecture Bremen, International Doctoral College Forschungslabor Raum ‘Transformation Landscapes’). Since 2016 she is ordinary professor for the international Master Program of Landscape Architecture at Anhalt University.
