International Baukultur Symposium

“Abitando Venezia – Living Venice – Venedig erleben”, 26 and 27 June 2014 in Venice

The Federal Foundation of Baukultur is joint host of the event “Built Living Spaces of the Future” in cooperation with the Deutsches Studienzentrum (German Study Centre) in Venice. The International Baukultur Symposium takes place on 26 and 27 June 2014 at the Deutsches Studienzentrum in Venice during the 14th International Architecture Biennale and focuses on the Baukultur Foundation’s international network. Taking the Lagoon City as an example, the network meeting looks at the tourism industry, and at the eventisation, globalisation, and gentrification of historical cities as well as at sustainable, regional settlement models and innovative infrastructure and mobility concepts.

The highlights of the event are a guided boat tour with the theme “the city on the water” and a guided tour of the Biennale.
