Münsterhügel, Basel

Basel’s Münsterhügel (Minster Hill) is, unlike the city centre, characterised primarily by its historical building stock, thereby necessitating guidelines for design. The goal is not to create completely new roads and designs for squares, but to expand the existing pattern of bituminous surfacing and block paving in a consistent and coherent manner over the entire perimeter.
